The Motorola HAE4004 is a low-profile UHF (470-512 MHz), ¼ wave roof mount antenna. Moreover, this antenna has a Mini – UHF connector.
In fact the HAE4004 has a signal that radiates vertically. So making it ideal for urban environments where buildings can obstruct the signal.
Tthis antenna requires either a 3/4″ hole be drilled on the roof of the vehicle or a right-angle mounting bracket with a 3/4″ hole must be used to mount the antenna. Included with the HAE4004 is approximately 12 feet of coax and a loose Mini-UHF male connector that will need to be crimped on the coax.
